Data Deletion Policy — Veridonia
You may request deletion of your account and personal data at any time. This page explains how your data is removed or anonymised in accordance with Veridonia's design and transparency principles.
1. How to Request Deletion
From the app or website: Open Settings → Delete accountand confirm. Your account is anonymized within seconds.
If you've lost access and can't sign in, email support@veridonia.com with the subject "Delete My Account" and include the email address or username of the account.
2. What Will Be Deleted
Once your request is confirmed:
- Authentication data (OAuth ID, name, email address) is permanently removed.
- IP address associations and ELO rating tied to your identity are deleted.
- Any stored profile information is erased.
3. What May Be Anonymised Instead of Deleted
To preserve the transparency and integrity of community decisions:
- Public content you created (posts, comments) may remain, but will be anonymised and no longer linked to your identity.
- Voting records and rating changes may also remain in anonymised form to maintain accurate historical context and statistical integrity.
4. Timeframe
Data deletion or anonymisation is completed within 7 days of confirming your request.
